A rebrand for MKA built around one idea: a shop window that looks back. We sketched three directions, then built the thing.
The build went Arduino, then Kinect, then RealSense. The depth views are drawn straight from the sensor. Reading them let us set a distance threshold, so the eyes follow people on the pavement and ignore the traffic passing behind them.
In parallel we animated the eye in Processing, first following the mouse. The two halves were fused at the end: the sensor's input driving the eye's gaze.
